This is a thread for anything AC/DC. Fans can post here to praise them or ask questions about songs, albums, members, former members or whatever.
I'll start things off by saying I think their latest album Black Ice is a great album. My favoite song on it is War Machine. What do you guys think about?

Black Ice sounded kinda off to me. This was before I had heard much of their catalog. In all honesty, it sounds just exactly like Ballbreaker. Not too big on those albums, but I do like Anything Goes (lol, it's a pop song) and Skies On Fire. Rock 'N' Roll Train and Big Jack were ruined by the excessive radio play....

AC/DC recorded a song called "Borrowed Time" during the sessions for the Blow Up Your Video album and then didn't put it on the album. It was released as a B-side on some singles though. I think it's better than most of the songs that did make the album. Have you guys heard it? And if you have what do you think about it?
And Nick "Problem Child" is one of my favorite Bon era songs.

I think it might be on that CD you sent me, Brian. One of my favorite Bon era songs is Let There Be Rock. I read that Angus' amp caught fire while recording that song and he just kept playing.

It is on that CD Jim. Give it a listen and tell us what you think. And yes "Let There Be Rock" is great too. I've never heard that amp story before but that's pretty cool. I can see him doing it too.

It doesn't sound like anything is happening in the recording, but I read it in one of the digi-pak booklets.

I love the way that Ac/Dc maintained what they know and kept their classic sound.

I've heard rumors that Black Ice is going to be AC/DC's last album. I hope that's not true. This album has showed that they still have it and I don't see any reason they should quit. I'm sure you guys agree with me.

No lie there Brian. No lie. When it comes to bands that i like they are normally proven themselves to be true to what they want and won't let the politics of the music system get into their heads which causes them to alter the course of what made them good. Hail The YOUNG BROTHERS........to far......wait no Not far enough.

Yeah man a big reason I've always liked AC/DC is when I buy one of their albums I know it'll sound like AC/DC. With some bands you never know what you'll get.

God damn, Brian, how old are you? I'll be 30 in May. My older brother is a big AC/DC fan too. He got me listening to them when I was 7 or 8 years old. I've been a fan ever since.

I had a chance to see them in memphis...Tickets and gas were too high, though. It'd have been cool to see them at the very city and venue that my cousin saw them back in '89, right after I was born. Cousin's like 40 or something.
