When he sent me my wood, the box was filled with packing peanuts. Supported the wood pretty well, but i've never bought anything else off of him.

On the Kyle subject I just find him unccessarily arrogant.
All his builds are very simily, plane old strats and teles, he just shys away from anything that pushes the boundries in the way of skill and design, e.g. inlay work, often with the excuse 'im too lazy'
Not going far as a luthier IMO...

It's a high-pass filter, jared. Only if the resistor is AFTER the cap.

ugh. kid at my school pisses me off. he thinks his band is better than mine, and tries to emphasize it every day. sad part is he can't improv wort crap, cause he doesn't know the key of the songs. =/ that and he is a thrash metal/V elitist. His band: www.myspace.com/doomfire4just a small rant.

So? I can't improv for crap, because I don't understand how theory translates over to guitar. I understand theory for wind instruments though:D
Tbh, it isn't really a competition.. If he thinks he's better, let him think that. What does he gain from it? Nothing, except maybe falling on his face when he try's to show off.
That's when you come in, shred shit up, and get laid.
Simple, no?

Kai just remember in the world of music there are the two types of bands those who know they rock and don't gloat about it and those who wish they rocked and have to make themselves seem better than every one else when the sad fact is they suck and everyone knows it.

(jerry cantrell would shred the fuck out of hammet, anyday. james hetfield sounded so gay when he was like "this is metallica's moment" about guitar hero)

its not the fact that he can't improv, its that he screws up every one of our guitar classes concerts with it.
We play Oye como va/black magic woman, and me and the other lead are all in time and tune...his is so...off. I dunno.
I think its beause his MG is like a full blast.
its not his MUSIC its the fact that he is such an ELITIST about everything. he actually tried to correct me, when I told him active pickups on an MG would sound like crap. its his whole attitude. I uhnno.
he just annoys me.
